A trained journalist with a background working across a series of business titles across a range of industries, Stuart has been heavily involved in the agriculture and horticulture sectors for some 20 years.
Having taken up a role in the early 2000’s with a UK-based export trade association within the commercial horticulture sector, he soon found himself leading trade missions and British groups at key trade events in important markets across Europe, East Africa and the Middle East.
Working closely with government departments, consulates, high commissions and embassies around the world, Stuart represented the commercial interests of UK growers and suppliers, while also supporting and co-ordinating promotional events, activities and press briefings.
Stuart transferred these skills into the world of agricultural PR in 2016. Since then, he has worked with some of the industry’s most established global names, national trade associations and industry bodies, as well as independent commercial businesses supplying the agricultural, horticultural and land-based sector.
His role with Kendalls is predominantly focused on the creation of engaging and effective written content on behalf of a varied client base. This includes the planning, writing and placement of technical and advisory articles, client testimonials and case studies, as well as the dissemination of industry surveys and trial work.
Stuart sits on the committee of the Midlands branch of the British Guild of Agricultural Journalists (BGAJ), and is also a CIPR member
